Rates & how they're calculated
How is the shipping price calculated?
Each route has a price list by weight bracket — the more you send, the cheaper each kg:
- 1 – 5kg: a flat price, whatever the exact weight within the bracket.
- Over 5kg up to 20.5kg: charged per kg at the rate of each bracket (5–10kg, 10–15kg, 15–20.5kg).
- 21kg and over: the lowest price per kg — see “21kg and over” in Pricing.
- Plus goods surcharges (if any), e.g. for food, cosmetics, batteries, liquids.
My goods are light but bulky — how is the weight charged?
The chargeable weight is the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight, rounded up to the next 0.5kg. Volumetric weight = Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 6,000 for air, ÷ 5,000 for sea to the USA. For example, a 50 × 40 × 40cm box sent by air has a volumetric weight of 13.3kg and is charged as 13.5kg.

They are estimates for your reference. After receiving and inspecting your goods (weighing, measuring, checking the items), UCargo staff will call you to confirm the exact price before shipping.
Do the prices include taxes?
Prices exclude VAT. As for import duties in the destination country:
- Taiwan and the Philippines: import duties included.
- USA by sea: duties included.
- USA by air: goods valued above the US duty-free limit may be taxed under the destination's rules.

- Wooden crate: 200,000₫/parcel (when fragile goods need crating).
- USA – parcels over 22kg (up to 39kg): 1,386,000₫/parcel; oversized parcels (longer than 119cm or any side over 70cm): 1,056,000₫/parcel.
- USA – remote area addresses: 150,000₫ – 650,000₫/parcel depending on the ZIP code; redelivery due to a wrong address: 550,000₫ – 990,000₫/parcel.
