The risk of loss or damage in international shipping is very low, but not zero. Knowing the compensation levels in advance helps you decide whether to insure a high-value shipment.

Goods not compensated without insurance
- Without insurance: lost general goods are refunded at 150% of the freight; no refund for medicine, replicas, dipping sauces, meat/eggs/dairy, bird's nest, dietary supplements, powders, liquids.
- Without insurance: lost general goods are refunded at 150% of the freight; dangerous goods, liquids, chemicals, powders, batteries, fragile items and jewellery are not compensated.
- Fragile goods worth over 100 USD are not compensated unless insured (5% of the invoice value, cover up to 100,000,000₫).
- Without insurance: lost general goods are refunded at 150% of the freight; restricted goods, liquids, batteries, fragile items and jewellery are not compensated.
When should you buy insurance?

- Goods worth much more than the shipping fee (phones, laptops, premium cosmetics, bird's nest).
- Fragile items, liquids, batteries — groups that are not compensated without insurance.
- Gifts that cannot be bought again.
Keep your purchase receipts as proof of value in case you need to claim compensation.
